Final Deliverables
Information Architecture
A simple 7-page website. The homepage highlights the features of NG911 and what it does. Industry pages are for targeted verticals. Regulations covers legislation which NG911 helps comply with.
Visual Language
I used the logo, existing website, and competitive analysis to develop formal guidelines for the assets used across the website.
Copywriting
22 pages, more than 5,500 words, were written from research to  create persuasive, informative, and industry-specific information.
Minimalist Graphics
To keep in line with the more serious nature of 911 accessibility, I used minimalist and a monochromatic-leaning color scheme to design simple graphics  that described core features of NG911, the requirements of relevant federal legislation, and clearly represented statistics.
Homepage
NG911.cx was designed to be an educational resource for users to learn about what NG911, however this original 1-page design lacked visual and information cohesion. While the original page was detailed, it was hard to understand the overall narrative and more importantly, what NG911 did at a quick glance. I addressed ambiguities by explicitly stating what NG911 is, core features, and how it developed from existing 911 infrastructure.
Industry Page
Industry pages were used to emphasize who is impacted and stands to benefit from upgrading their telecommunication infrastructure to NG911. As opposed to a text-heavy front page, industry pages were dominated by enlarged hero images meant to spark empathy with the reader. Industry specific phrases, statistics, and organizations were used to increase SEO optimization such as "FEMA", "OSHA", "Aerodome Emergency Plan" for respective industries.
Specialty Industry Page
As a subsidiary of IT Management organization, our key target audience is Government and Education industries. These pages were written with content to persuade action with careful consideration to avoid fear-mongering. Due to the wide variety of government agencies, the benefits of NG911 and how they can help apply to  government agencies were listed out opposed to impacted municipal departments.
Regulation Page
To help site visitors understand the importance of two new federal regulations and its impact on telecom communications, I built two pages dedicated to Kari's Law and RAY BAUMs Act. I matched the visual theme of the homepage to express the core rules of each regulation and contextual information to provide background.
